Pies. Pies. Pies.

Pies. Pies. Pies.

There's a pie for every occasion, and my recipes were perfected over time, integrating the right blend of spices and seasonal fruits. Of course, input from the test kitchen crew was invaluable as each woman brought her own preferences to the table. Literally.

Key Lime Pie

This silky dessert is made with fresh-squeezed limes - approximately 13 - homemade whipped cream, and baked in a graham cracker crust. It's my absolute favorite pie on the menu, to be enjoyed year round.

Apple Crisp

My apple crisp might be better known as “Peter’s Apple Crisp,” since my husband helped develop the recipe (and it’s his favorite). With apples, cinnamon, nutmeg and oats — and, yes, one pear — this combination makes an irresistible autumn treat.

Apple Pie

Dig into layers of cinnamon and nutmeg-seasoned apples in a buttery crust, with a little lemon zest to bring the flavors to life. This one is my father’s favorite.

Let Them Eat...

Let Them Eat...

Nothing triggers the oohs and ahhs like a buttery layer cake, decadent bundt or rich cheesecake. I credit my test kitchen crew, who provided suggestions for many of these options. Most cakes can be done as cupcakes as well. Just ask!

Red Velvet Cake

Although buttercream may be the traditional frosting, I’m a cream cheese kinda girl — and my cream cheese frosting is heaven. Check it out on this velvet delight.

$42

Red Velvet Cake

Chocolate Pound Cake with Dark Chocolate Ganache

It’s a chocolate lover’s forkful of heaven: chocolate on chocolate. Rich. Dense. Perfection. Top it off with my fresh whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Devils Food Cake with Buttercream Frosting

This one was created as a “take that” to my mother, since we were never allowed to have devil’s food cake growing up. The only thing that could make this decadent chocolate cake with rich buttercream frosting better is a glass of milk to go with.

$54

Devils Food Cake with Buttercream Frosting

Flourless Chocolate Cake

Rich. Dark. Sublime. This gluten free slice of chocolate sin was inspired by a fierce competitor and delightful woman, Barb. May my tennis game one day come close to hers.
